Langley Court, Beckenham

 

Andrew successfully led the planning consultancy on securing planning consent for 280 dwellings, a 100 bed care home and a significant area of Metropolitan Open Land (MOL) with a new sports club facility at the former Langley Court Glaxo site in Beckenham.

 

The site benefited from a previous outline approval for 179 dwellings. Andrew successfully worked with CALA Homes (South Home Counties), Signature Senior Lifestyle and landholders Delancey to successfully optimise the existing consent. Working alongside architects OSP (for the housing) and PRP (for the Care Home) the scheme was progressed through the planning system including referral to the GLA.

 

The scheme successfully secured planning at local level in November 2018 and full permission was obtained in June 2019 following stage 2 approval by the GLA.
